| Welcome to the first event presented by the PhotoCrew.
Troughout the years we have met and flown with many pilots who really liked
our photowork. Unfortunately during airshows or fly-ins there is not always
time or the possibility to organise an air-to-air photoshoot.
Therefore it is our pleasure to introduce you a brand new private event:
it is NOT an airshow, there are NO flying displays, NO low flyby's and
NO aerobatics; the Photoflying Days are organized by photographers and
pilots for photographers and pilots who all share the same passion ....flying
and airborne photography! The event will run along the famous Chipmeet
- www.chipmeet.com
- well known for it's fantastic and relaxed atmosphere.
|
 |
The location of the first Photoflying Days
is the beautifull airfield of Zoersel, a former military airbase. It's
truly a green oasis and a real pleasure to fly in there. It is now home
to the ACPK aeroclub, who will host at the same long weekend the famous
Chipmeet. All usefull info on how to reach Zoersel airfield, and the procedures,
you will find on the home page of their website. Click here www.ebzr.be
There are NO LANDING FEES during the entire weekend!
It is important to know that EBZR is STRICTLY PPR (Prior Permission Required)
for any arrivals. The best thing to do is to register your intentions
beforehand with the PhotoCrew (at least one week in advance) as then we
will take care of the PPR requirement. In case you can not make it, then
no harm is done. However should you decide at the very last moment to
make your way to Zoersel photodays, then please make sure the get a PPR
by contacting EBZR directly yourself.

Good pictures can only be taken from good photoships,
and all our best photoplatforms will be present. The Yaks have a superb
open – canopy view, the T-6 the ultimate adventage of a backwards
facing seat and the big Skyvan will give us the unprecedented view like
so many of the photos you can see on our website. In full capacity she
has place for 10 photographers...aiming directly at you! |

|
 |
All the airborne photography is produced by the PhotoCrew and ENTIRELY
FREE ; photofiles come in jumbo sizes and high resolution only. If
you have a look around at our website you will see what we mean by
'pristine quality' . As the Photoflying Days run along with our “Air-to-Air
Academy” project, we take our student- and guestphotographers
with us, so you will have dozens of great new airborne photos in a
very short time.
ALL AIRCRAFT TAKING PART IN THE PHOTOFLYING
WILL BE OFFERED THE BRAND NEW FULL COLOUR LUXURY BOOK, PRODUCED
BY THE PHOTOCREW “AIR-TO-AIR ACADEMY, VOLUME 1”

In co-orporation with the Chipmeet, there will be very
good offers from the nearby hotels if you want to stay longer than
one day. We'll try to provide free shuttle service to the different
hotels in the morning and evening. You can of course stay overnight
at the airfield like a classic fly-in, if you bring your tent with
you....it's free!
There are plenty of drinks available at the aeroclub, and the food
is something we can absolutely recommend to you! It's provided by
the nearby catering company. However, you have to let us know in advance
( the latest at the same day, before 10:00 am )
Campsite: campers, caravans and tents welcome! Entirely free, two
showers and restroom available. Breakfast service can be organized
by the aeroclub.
|
This is the list of hotels, serviced by our free
event transport; this is of course ONLY in the morning and in the
evening:
|
|
 |
All aircraft and crew will
be welcomed by a free drink and bite in the clubhouse, offered to
you by the PhotoCrew.
As the aeroclub has very limited facilities to prepare food for
a large group of people, we work together with the nearby catering
company. Delicious foods can be offered to make your stay even more
enjoyable.
- Lunch : 15 €
- 3-course dinner : 25 €
- A special combi-ticket is available for 35 €.
However, one condition for all the catering: you have to let us
know in advance!! For lunch, in the morning, and for dinner, before
4pm.
|
And for your flying baby, AvGas is available troughout the entire event
by the aeroclub at a very friendly price!! For aircraft flying on kerosine,
we can advice to refuel at Antwerp Airport ( this is only 10 minutes flying
). |
 |
| The Chipmeet is known by photographers and visitors
alike for it's wonderfull and friendly atmosphere; please know that the
Photoflying Days are a private event. However, the APCK Aeroclub and airfield
will be open to the public as on any other weekend. There is no entrance
fee.
For photographers on the ground there is the usual special offer of the
Chipmeet: Upon arrival you have to register yourself and pay €7 (
2 € deposit for the Chipmeet fluo jacket ) to receive your fluo jacket
& special sticker. It will allow you to walk around the aircraft and
take pictures like you don't see them anywhere else...no fences and very
close to the action.
THE ONLY REQUIREMENT IS THAT YOU BEHAVE DISCIPLINARY AND SIGN A LIABILITY
WAIVER!
