Many reports you can enjoy on this website are the result of a team effort; it is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to the real young generation of aviation photographers. Nothing is more rewarding, and challenging, then to work with highly motivated and ambitious people who share the same passion for aviation and the drive to produce the best photowork in the world!
Meet......the PhotoCrew!

Michael Vaeremans

Michael joined my crew in march 2008 when we talked about the idea of building a small team of photographers to cover the bigger projects. He is for sure the “experimentator” , as I get always my camera's back with all settings completely changed! The results however are very often more creative and artistic, and there is always something new to learn from him. Michaels “full propellor” photowork, along with the moody lightconditions have generated enormous enthousiasm in the aviationworld.

Soetkin Vandecandelaere

How lucky can you be in this world to have a girlfriend who loves aviation? Michael is the lucky one, and I am very happy to have Soetkin in the PhotoCrew. She's the only photographer with us having a clear preference....helicopters! So life must be very sweet as in daily life Soetkin works for a helicoptercompany ;-) Behind the camera she'll capture the rotors with a different approach and a certain female charm, often resulting in original high quality pictures.

Giel Sweertvaegher

Giel is the réal “young” generation photographer, as he caught our attention at the age of 14. He was one of those very active members on forums across Europe, taking a lot of initiative with his limited photography equipment. But that's excactly where it all starts...an idea and a lot of drive! Giel joined my crew in 2009 and before reaching 17 years he has already flown beside and in warbirds, several vintage aircraft, and produced very original photowork during many air-to-air shoots including fast jet formations. That's where ambition can bring you if you really want it!

Tom Houquet

Tom completed the PhotoCrew in april 2009. Being already a wellknown aviationphotographer in Belgium, his levels were “raised” when he joined us on the many air-to-air photosorties. It hasn't really stopped since, and Tom has produced some of our most famous and eyecatching pictures. A lot of his photowork is regularly featured in books and magazines. You are looking at much of his efforts and other talents right now, as Tom is also our webmaster!
