Hello folks! A big welcome to my photosite and home of the famous Belgian PhotoCrew.

The thing that makes a life 'special' is the challenge to try and realise some of your personal dreams; it could be horseracing, climbing Mount Everest, be a popstar, an artcollector or anything this world has to offer that makes your life a happy one. Ever since I saw a jetfighter flying low over my head at the age of 8, I knew that 'special' thing in my life would have wings....that's about 34 years ago, and it hasn't changed for one day.

I could have become a pilot of course, but the other thing that got my attention at a young age was the possibility to frame those incredible moments and share them with your friends: pictures!

So I decided to become an aviationphotographer, with a special interest in air-to-air photowork. It took me almost 20 years to grow and improve to my current level. Since the introduction of the digital camera's things have seriously speed up, and I'm glad to say that a lot of my recent work has been used worldwide by Airforces, magazines, organisers, pilots etc. Of course it will always remain a hobby, there are only a handfull of photographers in the world who can call themselves professionals, meaning that they make a living out of their aviationphotos.

A new highlight was the realisation of my PhotoCrew, an incredible adventure ever since we took off in early 2009. Certainly check out their page and find out who's part of our very happy team, or simple click here.

A new big challenge awaits us in 2010 when we start with the Air-to-Air Academy, a unique project for aviationphotographers worldwide!

In Belgium and the countries around it I've made a lot of aviationfriends over the years who either are organisers, own or fly an aircraft or are in the military; because they are familiar with my work I do get a lot of opportunities to 'live my dream' and find myself in a photoship or a backseat doing what I love so much....click, click, click!

The projects with the PhotoCrew are about the biggest fun I can have, travelling all across Europe ( and far beyond in the near future ) , producing new and exciting photowork.

Have a great time here, and thank you for visiting the photogalleries. Check in regularly as there are very often new opportunities to share with you!
